Department Overview

DBA team is part of Platform, Application and Infrastructure Support division in Hedgeserv, providing 24/7 support of all DB systems and services. We are growing team of 12 experienced DBAs located in 4 offices around the globe.  We collaborate with Systems Administration, Monitoring and Development teams to diagnose and troubleshoot production issues and collect appropriate trending data for performance analysis and to plan and communicate rollouts of new software versions.

Shift: This role requires you to work on shifts including Saturday and Sunday

Job Description

We are seeking a Database Administrator to manage our database environments for Microsoft SQL Server databases. The role requires a person who can work within a DB Administration group and collaborate with several business and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for production and nonproduction database environments on premises and in cloud
• Support of application release process
• Support of weakened maintenance of all production DBs
• Shift: This role requires you to work on shifts including Saturday and Sunday

Job Requirements for the role

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer science
• SQL Server certifications is beneficial

Experience:

• Recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Windows Server – experience supporting production databases
• Personality – must be proactive, enthusiastic and dedicated.
