The Opportunity:

● Your Mission: To ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products by rigorously testing mobile and web applications, thereby enhancing user experience and satisfaction.

Aims:

● Champion quality across all projects, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers.

● Develop and maintain both manual and automated test suites for mobile and web applications.

● Monitor, track, and report bugs and issues, driving resolutions to maintain product excellence.

● Continuously evolve and enhance QA practices, aligning with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Measure of success:

● Reduction in production bugs and critical incidents.

● Increased test coverage through automated testing.

● Timely and accurate defect reporting, contributing to faster release cycles.

● Positive feedback from internal teams and clients regarding product quality and stability.

Day to day:

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a SCRUM environment.

● Write, execute, and maintain test cases.

● Carry out manual testing and develop automated scripts using tools like TestProject, Appium, Selenium, or Cypress.

● Monitor app usability, performance, and accessibility.

● Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings, sharing insights to enhance quality.

Required

● Commercial experience in QA testing for mobile and web apps.

● Experience with automated testing tools (TestProject, Appium, Selenium, Cypress, etc.).

● Strong understanding of test plans, ideally with TestRail experience.

● Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and performance testing.

● Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

● Passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

● An excellent communicator who thrives in team-based environments.

Interview Process

Stage1️⃣ – Intro call with our Talent Acquisition Advisor (30 mins Google Meet)

Stage 2️⃣ – Informal chat with your potential line manager (30 mins Google Meet)

Stage 3️⃣ – Take home tech test (no deadline- return when you’re happy!)

Stage 4️⃣ – Interview with 2 member of the team (60 mins Google Meet)
