Role Summary:
Manage a team of EMEA based Technical Design Authority engineers that works closely with Product, Network Architecture, Network Engineering, Solution’s Team (Sales Engineering), Project Management, Technical Management, Network Provisioning & Service Assurance to ensure that client solutions are designed, deployed and implemented per client expectations.
The Manager, TDA is to demonstrate the GTT employee values of Curious, Collaborative, Committed and Consistent at all times, as well as be customer first in their approach.
The TDA Manager is the focal point for technical design activities with our sales engineering contacts and is responsible for delivering the company values in alignment with the points above.
Job Scope/Supervision:
The Manager, TDA will be responsible for managing the several TDA engineers as well as being able to handle himself the TDA engineer role for some projects. They will work for Global Director of TDA within Service Delivery and will have several direct reports, some of which may have their own teams. The make-up and size of these direct and indirect reports will be reviewed and agreed at time to time by the SVP Service Delivery.
The Manager, TDA will work closely with the Service Delivery Teams, regional Sales Teams and Regional Operational teams to ensure that all aspects of technical client experience as aligned and that TDA resources are deployed in alignment with the other regional teams.
