Frontend Game Developer

As a Frontend Game Developer, you will be a key contributor to the development of interactive, performant, and visually rich slot games using Godot. You’ll collaborate closely with artists, designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless player experiences across web and mobile platforms.

What will you be doing?

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend game features and logic for slot games using Godot Engine, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Implement responsive, smooth, and visually appealing animations, transitions, and game interactions.
• Collaborate with artists and designers to integrate 2D assets, effects, and UI elements into the game.
• Ensure games are optimized for performance and run smoothly on a variety of devices and screen resolutions (desktop, mobile, tablets).
• Work with backend developers to integrate game services, APIs, and data synchronization.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to improving coding standards, and maintain clean, maintainable codebases.
• Debug, profile, and fix performance and functional issues across multiple platforms.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, game development trends, and best practices, especially in the iGaming and slots industry.

Who are you?

• Experience developing games with Godot Engine or Unity
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiar with SDLC agile practices
• Experience building interactive, animation-heavy applications or games (ideally in the casual or casino/slot game space).
• Good understanding of game loops, rendering pipelines, asset management, and UI/UX best practices in games.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and optimizing for web/mobile platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred but not a must

• Previous experience developing slot games or similar casual/mobile games.
• Knowledge of shader programming, particle systems, or animation tools within Godot.
• Understanding of the iGaming industry, slot mechanics, and regulatory considerations.
