Hi there! We’re a startup working on a virtual clothes fitting app, and we’re in the soft launch mode for a new market.
Here’s how it works:
We use neural networks to create anatomically precise 3D avatars for realistic clothing fitting with accurate fabric physics. Picture a heavy knit hoodie that hangs just right or a light cotton dress that flares naturally. We consider size and body shape, so larger sizes drape on smaller figures, while smaller sizes may stretch on bigger builds.
We’re seeking a developer to help integrate our ML/3D services with the infrastructure. You’ll be part of a dynamic team of backend developers (Java), ML and 3D experts (Python), designers, and researchers. Our team is 20 strong, and we believe you’re the piece we’re missing!
Your responsibilities will include:
Development:
Improve and expand the integration of ML/3D services with the infrastructure
Develop testing mechanisms for software (unit, integration, etc.) and ML pipelines; enhance our tool that assesses ML advancements with test datasets, compiles results, and computes metrics
Build internal ML/3D tools, like a synthetic video generator for rotating models
Integration:
Collect and format service logs, then send them to ELK
Incorporate Blender into ML/render pipelines: support container deployment, execute scripts and scenes, and collect logs
Package ML/3D Python services into Docker containers and collaborate with DevOps
Fulfill Blender’s contextual requirements
Test services, identify bottlenecks, and optimize as needed
Support and improve backend and infrastructure integration
Research:
We’re at the cutting edge of ML methods for animated human avatars and detailed 3D rendering for virtual try-ons. We’re eager for someone passionate about exploring advanced fabric simulation techniques and integrating them into our developments. An interest in modern 3D engines is a definite plus. You’ll also join our efforts in solving Virtual Try-On challenges and reconstructing 3D body structures.
Expectations
Strong Python skills with 3+ years of experience; you’ve developed and launched complex Python systems in production
Systems thinking, with a track record of independently designing and implementing substantial projects
Keen interest in 3D and 3D-ML exploration
Talent for writing clean, structured code
Solid grasp of OOP, practical application experience
Hands-on with CI/CD processes, Docker, and containerization
Nice to have:
Proficient in C++ to engage with Unreal Engine R&D opportunities and refine our internal 3D rendering automation with C++/Qt
Familiarity with SMPL, SMPL-X is an advantage
Conditions:
Full-time role
Flexible hours
Official employment in Sofia, Bulgaria
Supportive, emotionally balanced team
Startup vibe: rapid development cycles and clear impact
No engagement tests or time tracking
If this feels like the right fit, we’d love to connect with you!
