Senior QA with SQL/ETL

We are looking for a senior QA for a an interesting project:

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer with expertise in ETL and BI testing. This role will focus on ensuring data quality

and integrity during the migration from SAP HANA to Snowflake, supporting critical business

functions across Finance, Global Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL pipelines.

• Perform data validation and troubleshooting using advanced SQL across large datasets.

• Test BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau.

• Validate data quality through profiling, integrity checks, and completeness validation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies and integration issues.

• Utilize test automation frameworks to streamline ETL and BI testing processes.

• Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.

• Conduct root cause analysis for data and reporting issues.

• Document test results, issues, and resolutions clearly and effectively.

• Provide 2 hours of daily overlap with onshore teams for effective collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience:

•  Knowledge/experience in ETL testing and data quality assurance.

• Strong SQL proficiency for data querying and validation.

• Hands-on experience with Tableau and other BI tools.

Advantages:

• Familiarity with SAP ECC, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.

• Experience with test automation tools for data pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience working in global teams and supporting distributed environments.
