SDLC Consultant

We are seeking a partner to lead an initiative to design and implement a robust & scalable

SDLC framework aligned with organisational goals and industry best practices, fostering

consistency, compliance, and efficiency across the client’s organisation.

Objectives

 Unify the current disparate SDLC processes across the various in-house client & 3rd

party development teams.

 Design an SDLC governance framework tailored to the client’s structure, business

needs, and technology landscape.

 Implement governance controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and

industry standards (e.g., ISO27001, SOX, GDPR).

 Enhance visibility, accountability, and quality across all stages of the SDLC.

 Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for stakeholders involved in software

development, delivery, and support.

 Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of the

governance process.

Scope

 Assessment of current in-house developed software products, SDLC processes,

governance gaps, and stakeholder needs.

 Development of a customised SDLC governance framework including policies,

guidelines, and process flows.

 Definition of roles and responsibilities for governance implementation and oversight.

 Integration of SDLC governance practices into existing related processes such as

EMPO, change control, and incident & problem management.

 Setup and configuration of core tools underpinning the SDLC framework such as Azure

DevOps.

 Design integrations with other applications outside of the core SDLC toolsets to support

seamless end-to-end processes.

 Training sessions for key stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of the governance

process.

 Pilot implementation of the governance framework in select projects for validation and

refinement.

 Development of an audit mechanism to assess ongoing compliance and improvement.

Scope Exclusions

 Development of new software applications.

 Operational management of governance processes post-implementation.

 Purchasing and license costs for any SDLC tools.

Assumptions

 Azure DevOps will be the client’ss DevOps platform.
