Senior Backend Engineer – Nest.js

What We’re Building

We’re building the connective tissue of the vacation rental ecosystem. Our platform enables property managers which are local businesses to create their own booking engines and include properties from a shared pool thus driving reservation and revenue.

A critical part of that is a unified API across multiple property management systems (PMS). This service empowers us to provide our core booking engine as well as to enable hospitality businesses to seamlessly integrate, manage and scale operations across fragmented systems. Saving them the time and resources to integrate with many PMS. Developing and maintaining the backend of this system will be your responsibility.

We’re early-stage and backed by industry insiders. You’ll be joining a small team with a big vision – this is an opportunity to shape the foundation of a critical data product in travel tech alongside a highly motivated team.

What You’ll Do

Lead development of critical backend services using Nest.js

Design and evolve APIs that abstract away the complexity of integrating with multiple PMS platforms

Maintain and engineer robust microservices deployed to AWS, with scalability and resilience at their core

Collaborate closely with the teams to deliver cross-functional features

Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while driving best practices in API versioning, observability, and deployment automation.

Own features end-to-end, from ideation and architecture to deployment and monitoring — your work directly impacts thousands of guests and hosts.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience with Nest.js
• Strong understanding of REST API & WebHooks
• Experience with AWS
• Hands on experience with databases (Postgre, Mysql)
• Provision infrastructure components with Terraform
• Bonus: Experience(or interest) in Go, especially for high-performance data pipelines
• Bonus: Experience in vacation rentals or PMS systems
