    Why bother?

    At FindMeCure we are working towards a future where no one dies for a lack of a cure.

    To achieve this, we’ve created two products:

    • FindMeCure.com helps patients to find suitable clinical trials, it’s completely free (B2C).
    • TrialHub.com helps the clinical research industry plan better clinical trials with the patient in mind (B2B SaaS).

    What you’ll do?

    As a Data Engineer in TrialHub, you will design, improve, and maintain our Azure data infrastructure. Your expertise will unlock new insights and data sources, accelerating clinical trial planning worldwide. If you’re someone who ‘gets stuff done’ and enjoys pushing the boundaries of data and modeling environments, read on.

    • Build and maintain ETL pipelines
    • Design, build and maintain our Azure infrastructure
    • Assemble complex data sets that meet business requirements
    • Implement automation and optimization for data processing
    • Learn about the clinical research industry
    • Understand the company culture and values and act accordingly

    • A team of excellent data and software engineers with broad knowledge and experience in developing products and delivering software at scale

    Who would be the right fit for this position?

    • A smart and driven person, inherently curious about how things work
    • Loves solving problems and persists until accomplishing the objective despite obstacles and setbacks. We’d expect you to prove it by sharing examples of your impact on projects and organizations you’ve worked for. (impact/contribution > years of experience)
    • Makes sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information
    • Proactive, including in communication
    • Experience with Python
    • Experience with at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP)
    • Experience with at least one dataframe framework (Pandas, Spark, Polars, etc.)
    • Experience with at least one SQL or NoSQL DB
    • Data nerd

    Any of these is a plus:

    • Experience with Azure Databricks
    • Experience with MongoDB
    • Experience with ETL tools like Airflow, Informatica, etc…
