Hardware/Electronics test engineer (testing electronics for life science products)

Your job:

• Active participation and support in test case development and real testing of products for medical and laboratory automation (life science products products).
• Planning, implementation and documentation of the testing tasks in coordination with different departments in the company as a part of the product development during the product qualification and approval.
• Testing support during different R&D projects.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test cases for continuous and regression testing.
• Perform functional, integration, stress, and environmental tests on hardware prototypes and final products.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to identify defects early and ensure testability of designs.
• Participate in root cause analysis and assist in failure investigations using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
• Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to building a robust test infrastructure.
• Working in an interdisciplinary, international and agile product development team.
• Active participation in solving complex problems related to the tested products as well as the test equipment.

Our requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar field.
• Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge in German language will be considered as an advantage.
• Very good command of MS Office; experience with SAP will be considered as a plus.

Professional Competencies and Requirements:

• Practical experience in product testing- working with test measuring equipment (e.g.,multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators).
• Experience with electric signals measurement.
• Proven experience in development of test automation- knowledge in TestStandand/LabView or PLC programing etc.
• Basic programing with Python, C# etc. will be taken as advantage.
• Knowledge in statistical test methods is a plus.
