    Job Description

    Reporting to the Software Team Manager, you will help modernize the automation flows of one of our main products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites across both frontend and backend components, focusing on React-based UI and backend services. You will also manage and evolve our build and automation infrastructure, ensuring high reliability and fast feedback cycles.

    What you’ll do:

    • Design and implement automated test cases for frontend (React) and backend components.
    • Maintain test suites, ensuring stability and relevance through regular updates.
    • Investigate production defects and perform root cause analysis.
    • Define and document test scenarios based on product requirements and user stories.
    • Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure test coverage and quality goals.
    • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tooling.
    • Maintain automation infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting.
    • Recommend testing tools and frameworks for component and integration testing.
    • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and UI/UX feedback sessions.
    • Identify bottlenecks in the testing process and propose improvements to reduce cycle time.
    • Contribute to performance and security testing strategies.

    Qualifications

    What you’ll bring:

    • 5+ years of experience in Automated testing.
    • Proficiency in English.
    • Solid hands-on experience with Bash and at least one scripting language (preferably Python).
    • Proficiency in frontend testing frameworks and libraries (e.g., Jest, Cypress, or Playwright).
    • Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.
    • Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
    • Work with the Linux command line in different troubleshooting and scripting scenarios.
    • Experience writing performance and resilience tests.
    • Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Practical experience with the ReactJS framework.
    • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
    • Backend development experience, ideally with Java.
