    Reporting to the Analytics and Automation Senior Manager, the Senior Analyst will support the development and operation of analytics and automation for controls testing, with a focus on ICFR and financial controls testing.

    The Senior Analyst will understand, extract, and transform data from various systems, code data analytics tests, and develop continuous monitoring based on these tests. This includes creating visualizations to produce impactful representations of insights obtained through data analytics and developing reporting capabilities on the coverage and results of monitoring and testing.

    Job Description

    What you will do:

    • Perform data analytics to support controls testing, particularly ICFR.
    • Develop testing scripts and data analytics queries, implementing automation for continuous monitoring.
    • Ensure continuity and completeness of data feeds by managing relationships with data owners, addressing security requirements, and identifying/building new data feeds.
    • Create data visualization solutions/dashboards to report testing results and coverage.
    • Support integrated reporting of testing, incorporating analytics, continuous monitoring, and manual testing.
    • Monitor emerging analytics and automation capabilities to enhance our controls testing.

    Qualifications

    What we expect you to bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related fields;
    • 5 years’ experience in data analytics development and delivery;
    • Experience with at least one data analytics tool (e.g. Alteryx, SAS, Python);
    • Experience with at least one BI / visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI);
    • Experience managing and delivering high quality data analytics;
    • Experience performing data analytics in support of controls testing, internal/external audit;
    • Experience of relational databases (e.g. SQL);
    • Proficient in Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions);
    • Collaborative and consultative approach with colleagues;
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, large data sets and disseminate significant amounts of information with high attention to detail and accuracy;
    • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings;
    • Awareness of current trends in Data Science;

    We would consider it an advantage if you have:

    • Experience of predictive modelling and segmentation;
    • Experience of cloud computing (e.g. AWS);
    • Basic understanding of ICFR and regulatory requirements.
