    Job Description

    We are currently looking for Junior Data Modeller to join our growing Sofia based Analytics Team, established in 2007, as we are expanding our portfolio to support our North America Business.

    As a Junior Data Modeller, you will develop and validate robust analytical solutions for diverse clients – this includes ad hoc data analysis as well as development of statistical models for predicting and managing the behavior of consumers. You will report to a Data Modeller-Manager.

    What you will do:

    • Data extraction and data processing
    • Develop, validate, and maintain credit risk models, including application, behavioral, and collection scoring models
    • Evaluate the performance of the trained models and presentation of the results to stakeholders
    • Produce ad-hoc analysis on the available datasets or developed models
    • Communicate across the analytical and consultancy teams within Experian using all communication channels

    Qualifications

    What you are expected to bring:

    • A degree (BSc level) in a numerical discipline, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and econometrics, Physics.
    • Interest in applying statistical modeling techniques
    • Knowledge of softwares such as Python, R, SAS, SQL
    • Good analytical skills and willingness to learn
    • Fluency in English
