You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable API services and backend logic, primarily using Python and Node.js, with strong interaction with data repositories like MongoDB. Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack or backend software development
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and scripting
• Any experience with Node.js, including building and maintaining production-level services
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization
• Practical knowledge of containerization using Docker, including developing, testing, and deploying applications in Dockerized environments
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ability to maintain and contribute to frontend codebase when needed)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities; comfortable working in cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for learning and innovation

Nice to have

• Experience working with Databricks or other big data processing tools
• Familiarity with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks
• Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Background in agile development environments and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API services using Python and Node.js
• Work with data repositories, especially MongoDB, to serve data effectively through APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features from concept to production
• Develop and debug applications running in Docker containers
• Maintain and improve frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (VueJS is a plus)
• Apply software development best practices including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD
• Communicate proactively with teammates, product managers, and stakeholders
• Lead by example in code quality, architecture discussions, and team collaboration
