About Our Customer

Privately held U.S. technology company specializing in software solutions for managing Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.

About Our Project

Single-page application built with AngularJS (frontend) and WCF services in .NET 4.5/C# 6 (backend). Hosted on Azure, using SQL Server and CosmosDB for data storage. Includes Azure WebJobs and Azure Functions for background processing, and Hive Cluster for ETL data. Version control with TFVC via TFS 2015; build and deployment managed with XAML and PowerShell scripts. Migration to Azure DevOps and Git is under consideration.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in backend development using .NET (WCF, Web API, .NET Framework 4.5 or higher)
• Any experience with AngularJS
• Competency in Analysis Services
• Proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with Azure CosmosDB

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and XAML-based build definitions
• Basic understanding of Python

English level

Intermediate+

Responsibilities

• Support and development of backend services using .NET (WCF, Web API)
• Maintain and enhance Azure App Services and Azure Function Apps
• Work with various data sources: SQL Server, CosmosDB, and Analysis Services
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices
• Collaborate closely with other developers and QA engineers
• Participate in discussions on improving architecture and infrastructure
