    We are seeking a skilled Middle AI Engineer with a deep understanding of the latest trends to join our international team. As a mid-level contributor, you will design and implement agentic AI solutions that enhance automation, decision-making, and system intelligence across the enterprise. This role is ideal for developers with hands-on experience in AI/ML, LLMs, and autonomous agents, and a passion for building scalable, intelligent systems that drive operational excellence.

    About the Client  

    The leading provider of vehicle lifecycle solutions, with headquarters in Chicago, enables the companies that build, insure, and replace vehicles to power the next generation of transportation.     What You’ll Do

    • Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications and agentic systems using LLMs, transformers, and reinforcement learning
    • Build intelligent automation pipelines for tasks such as incident triage, anomaly detection, and operational decision support
    • Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing infrastructure and workflows
    • Develop and fine-tune models for natural language understanding, system behavior prediction, and autonomous task execution
    • Implement scalable APIs and microservices for AI model serving and orchestration.
    • Apply prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to improve model performance and contextual accuracy
    • Contribute to architectural decisions, model evaluation strategies, and continuous learning systems
    •  Mentor junior developers and share best practices in AI development and deployment
    • Align with team schedules (daily meetings and reviews between 3–7 PM CET)

     

    What You Bring

    • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, software engineering, or related roles
    • Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers
    • Experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral) and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI)
    • Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning principles
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Experience with MLOps tools and practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
    • Knowledge of observability and telemetry systems for AI performance tracking
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and a collaborative mindset
