Senior Software Test Automation Engineer with Java

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Automation Tester in Java to join our team.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of complex software systems, leveraging your expertise in Java and automation frameworks. As part of a dynamic Agile environment, you’ll collaborate with diverse teams to implement innovative testing strategies and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Utilize BDD frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave to enhance test automation practices
• Optimize testing across multiple browsers and platforms, focusing on web automation
• Define and implement testing strategies, including functional and non-functional testing
• Collect and analyze quality metrics to generate meaningful reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate within Agile teams to improve teamwork, efficiency, and communication
• Create test plans and design comprehensive testing scopes tailored to project needs
• Conduct testing for web services and responsive web applications
• Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing goals
• Apply CI/CD processes to ensure streamlined software delivery pipelines
• Prioritize test case creation by converting manual test cases into automated ones
• Drive adherence to Scrum methodology and Agile practices within the team

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• 3+ years of expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java or JavaScript
• Proficiency in BDD frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave, RestAssured
• Advanced knowledge of web automation across browsers and framework design
• Strong background in Agile methodologies, Scrum processes, and teamwork facilitation
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines
• Capability to test web services and responsive web applications effectively
• Skills in creating detailed test plans and testing scope documentation
• Expertise in collecting, analyzing metrics, and generating QA reports
• Clear communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English
