Golang Developer

We are seeking a talented Golang Developer to join our dynamic team at EPAM.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Go programming to design efficient solutions, contribute to scalable backend services, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement HashiCorp Vault plugins, APIs, or backend services using Go

Ensure code adheres to best practices and coding standards

Work with product managers and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Collaborate with team members to design systems capable of scaling under high usage

Conduct code reviews to uphold quality, performance, and maintainability

Diagnose and resolve issues reported by stakeholders or internal teams

Research emerging technologies in the Go ecosystem to recommend process enhancements

Requirements

3+ years of experience developing backend services and APIs with Go

Expertise in Go fundamentals, including error handling, concurrency, and channels

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerization and orchestration

Proficiency in GitHub for version control

Strong communication and collaboration skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities

Capability to perform efficiently in challenging and time-sensitive environments

Nice to have

Background in cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or AWS

Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems

Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
