What is the role?

As a Software Developer with a strong background in Java, cloud technologies (preferably AWS), and database management you will join our innovative SpaceOps Platform team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our cutting-edge platform that supports the satellite operations and mission management.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services using Java and Spring
• Implement cloud-based solutions with AWS to ensure our software applications’ scalability, reliability, and efficiency
• Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data is securely stored, easily accessible, and performs well
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, actively researching and recommending tools and practices that improve our development processes

What do we look for?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, focusing on the back-end development with Java
• Strong knowledge of Spring and related frameworks
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS
• Knowledge in database management
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS) and knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools is a plus
