    What is the role?

    As a Model-Based Developer, you will join our AOCS team where you will play a crucial role in the design, modeling, and analysis for our range of spacecraft and upcoming missions.

    Some of your daily tasks will include:

    • Design, develop, and test algorithms
    • Conduct simulations and analysis to assess the performance of our systems under various mission scenarios
    • Collaborate closely with the other engineering teams to integrate model-based solutions into the overall satellite designs
    • Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and Monte Carlo simulations
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of attitude determination and control systems
    • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving various satellite development and operations issues
    • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the integration of state-of-the-art satellite technologies

    What do we look for?

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the engineering field
    • 3+ years of work experience in model-based development
    • Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink
    • Experience with embedded code generation and/or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and Monte Carlo simulations
    • Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and hardware components used in embedded systems

    How to Stand Out:

    • Software Development experience with C++ or Python
    • Familiarity with CubeSat standards and small satellite systems
    • Previous involvement in space mission development and execution
