What is the role?

The Engineering Manager will lead our hardware team with a focus on our power systems, crucial for the performance of our satellites. This role requires robust project management skills, in-depth knowledge of power systems, and proficiency in using Jira to manage tasks and ensure efficient project execution. The ideal candidate is not a product owner but a delivery-focused, hands-on leader specializing in bringing projects to successful completion.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Overseeing a team of power systems engineers focused on designing and optimizing power systems for satellite applications
• Ensuring robust power distribution and battery management systems that meet stringent reliability and efficiency standards
• Implement process improvements to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery
• Collaborate with system and hardware teams to align power systems with overall satellite requirements

What do we look for?

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in power system design, ideally with a focus on space, aerospace, medical, or automotive applications, and at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proficiency in power system design tools and simulation software
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in Agile or iterative project environments
