System Architect

Role Overview

We seek a highly skilled and experienced System Architect to join our dynamic team. The System Architect will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing complex systems and software architectures that meet the needs of our business and technological goals. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and guide development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and reliable system architectures
• Define and document system components, interfaces, and interactions
• Ensure alignment of system architecture with business requirements, user needs, and project objectives
• Conduct system analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, software engineering, QA, operations, etc.) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Work closely with stakeholders to define system requirements and constraints
• Present technical solutions and system designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Evaluate, select, and integrate appropriate technologies and tools to meet system requirements
• Research emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions
• Ensure that the system architecture is scalable, flexible, and capable of meeting current and future performance demands
• Identify potential bottlenecks and design solutions to mitigate performance issues
• Define and enforce system architecture best practices and design patterns
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, including high-level designs, data flow diagrams, and system specifications
• Oversee the development lifecycle to ensure that the architecture is implemented correctly
• Anticipate potential risks and proactively address issues during the design, development, and implementation phases
• Provide technical leadership and support to development teams during the troubleshooting and resolution of system issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development and system architecture
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-level systems
• Experience with distributed systems and messaging system
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in software development languages such as Java, Python, or similar
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of security best practices and ensuring system integrity
