Responsibilities
Develop robust algorithms for the system backend and frontend
Optimize backend systems for top performance, scalability, and reliability
Architect solutions to handle high traffic volumes efficiently
Perform system monitoring, optimization, and high-performance tuning
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
Draft technical documentation
Work closely with data scientists to enable the integration of AI solutions
Enforce best practices across the team
Requirements
Computer Science or a related field degree, or equivalent relevant experience, education, and training
3+ years of experience as a Software Developer
2+ years of experience with Python, preferably using OOP
1+ year(s) of experience writing Restful APIs (such as Flask/FastAPI)
Understanding of the full development lifecycle
Experience with version control tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket and Atlassian products
Experience with: CI/CD systems and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage
Experience with database technologies e.g. PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Apache Kafka is an advantage
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is an advantage
Experience cloud technologies, e.g. AWS and/or Azure is an advantage
