Responsibilities
Be a servant leader of a team of highly skilled professionals.
Mentor and guide team members adhering to Java development best practices and coding standards.
Define responsibilities, assign tasks and track the team’s progress.
Design, develop and support solution components according to business requirements and technology best practices.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance and security.
Partner with the testing team to maintain high software quality.
Participate in troubleshooting and technical analyses to improve performance and availability.
Proactively identify potential improvements, leading their implementation.
Maintain updated technical documentation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams.
Present updates about task status, potential risks and any arising challenges.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role
Experience or strong interest in working with regulatory/compliance-driven environments (e.g. regulated markets, gambling, finance, etc.)
Very good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle
Strong experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Legal, and Operations
Knowledge of risk mitigation practices and escalation procedures
Solid understanding of Agile principles and practices
Proactive, organized, and capable of managing complex or sensitive tasks across multiple teams
Excellent communication skills—both client-facing and internal, written and verbal
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Product Owner Certification (e.g. CSPO, PSPO) will be considered an advantage
