DevOps Engineer

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to work predominantly in public cloud environments with the following requirements:

Technical skills & experience in:

• Public cloud infrastructure and services (Azure, AWS)
• DevOps, IaC, CI/CD tools and practices (terraform, pipelines, code repos)
• Foundational networking & protocols (DNS, HTTP, SSL)
• Linux/Unix OS and services administration; BASH scripting

These will be considered as an advantage:

• Coding experience
• Cisco CCNA Security or similar relevant InfoSec certification
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL) processes
• Knowledge and experience in managing monitoring systems
• Troubleshooting skills and experience
• Understanding of network design best practices
• Advanced English

Responsibilities:

• Monitor & enforce security posture in cloud
• Implement changes on mission critical environments through 100% IaC
• Consult clients when needed
• Prepare and update project documentation
• Execute installations, configurations, migrations, and tests on supported network infrastructure
• Be the first line of customer contact for support activities. Contacts only with IT people, no end users
• Troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure related incidents and resolve problems on time.
• Escalate to senior network engineers when needed.
• Execute predefined tasks for ongoing projects and participate in new design planning when
• requested.
• Operate entirely conforming to ITSM and ITIL practices and procedures
