    About the role

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our team at eBag, with a primary focus on end-user experience and a secondary focus on internal tools (including transportation, logistics, finance, trade, and customer support). This role combines UX and UI design, giving you the opportunity to craft intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital experiences. You’ll work closely with product managers and developers to design user-centered solutions that improve both functionality and usability across our platforms.

The position is on-site. Flexible home office is allowed without prior approval.

    Responsibilities

    • Design Intuitive Solutions: Create user-friendly and visually engaging designs that balance user needs with business objectives.
    • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to deliver cohesive, impactful product experiences.
    • Champion User-Centered Design: Leverage user research, personas, and usability testing to inform and validate your design decisions, ensuring seamless user experiences.
    • Prototype and Visualize Ideas: Build wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and support development.
    • Maintain and Evolve the Design System: Contribute to and help evolve the design system by aligning it with the current implementation. Initial work may include auditing and updating existing components, fixing inconsistencies, and addressing known issues.
    • Monitor Competitor Landscape: Stay on top of competitor designs and innovations within the sector to ensure our experiences remain modern, differentiated, and relevant.
    • Help Define and Improve Processes: Collaborate with the product team to shape effective design workflows—whether through design sprints or other frameworks—to ensure smooth delivery.
    • Work Efficiently and Prioritize Ruthlessly: We have a high volume of tasks and competing priorities. You should be able to focus on what matters most, work with urgency, and deliver high-impact outcomes quickly.

    The perfect candidate

    • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer, with a portfolio showcasing both visual design skills and a thoughtful approach to problem-solving.
    • Proficiency in Figma, including its collaborative features and use in real-world design workflows.
    • A genuine passion for design and a desire to stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
    • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and the fundamentals of web design.
    • Solid grasp of design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
    • Familiarity with user-centered design processes, including user research, usability testing, and iterative prototyping.
    • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality across all design outputs.
    • problem-solving mindset, with the ability to turn complex challenges into intuitive user experiences.
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
    • An open attitude toward feedback and iteration, with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Good organizational skills, allowing you to manage your time and tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
