Simulation Engineer

Responsibility:

 Compliance with internal requirements and guidelines regarding simulation or material testing

 Enhancement and improvement of processes, methodology and technical expertise

for simulation or material testing or prediction systems

 Compliance with standards for material testing

 Identification of weak points in product development and derivation of suggestions for improvement

 Advice and provision of technical expertise for customer and internal projects

 Cost efficiency in terms of simulation or material testing

 Assessment of concepts or materials

Tasks:

 Fulfilling the tasks in the respective areas of responsibility (MPS, FEM or CFD)

 Organizing, coordinating, executing and interpreting CFD or FEM simulations or material tests

 Advising and providing expertise for customer and internal projects

 Carrying out optimization tasks to improve quality and cost

 Support evaluation of customer requirements regarding materials or simulation (FEM or CFD)

 Support in automating simulation tasks

 Support in development of AI and prediction system tools

 Material or simulation data management

Requirements profile

 University degree, college degree or trained on the job preferably in various Engineering Disciplines, Physics, Mathematics, Material Science/Engineering or comparable fields

 Good English skills

 High level of technical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

 Independent, reliable, organized, and accurate way of working

 Ability to work under pressure and in a team

 Confident and communicative demeanor

 Mathematical knowledge

 Experience with simulation software or with laboratory work and material testing

 Experience in programming beneficial
