Security System Engineer

Responsibilities

We are expanding our Infrastructure team and looking for a Security System Engineer with a strong security focus. In this role, you will work in an agile environment, managing and securing hybrid cloud production infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams to design scalable, automated, and secure solutions across our Data Centers and AWS environments.

What will you do:

• Manage and secure Linux and Windows systems in production environments
• Deploy and maintain virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi) and load balancing (NGINX)
• Implement authentication and security solutions (AD, SSO, PKI/SSL)
• Automate infrastructure processes using Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, and Junkin
• Support hybrid cloud operations (on-premises + AWS)
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
• Share knowledge and best practices across teams
• Continuously improve security posture and system resiliency

Job Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a Linux Systems Administrator
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi
• Experience with NGINX LB, WAF, DoDOS setups
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, SSO, and PKI (SSL certificates)
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, PowerShell)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication abilities
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
• Fluent English

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems
• Experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, ALB, Route53)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with NetApp storage solutions
