Production Implementation Engineer- Laser division

Please note that this role is based at the R&D Center in Sofia and requires monthly travel to the R&D Center in Plovdiv.

As Production Implementation Engineer- Laser division you will be part of international team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with optical, electrical, and mechanical teams to integrate laser technology into products and processes.
• Perform simulations, modeling, and experimental testing of laser behavior and performance.
• Develop prototypes and oversee transition to production.
• Troubleshoot laser systems and propose innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with laser safety standards and regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with lasers (e.g., fiber, solid-state, CO₂, diode).
• Strong understanding of laser optics, beam delivery systems, and laser-matter interaction.
• Proficient in laser safety practices and regulatory standards (e.g., ANSI Z136).
• Experience with optical simulation tools (e.g., Zemax, LightTools) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial or medical laser applications.
• Familiarity with CNC/robotic laser systems or laser cutting/welding.
• Background in thermal or structural analysis related to laser systems.
