Hardware Design Engineer

• Responsible for the timely and qualitative execution of the specified tasks.
• Active interface work.
• Processing of requirements and goals in terms of the project.

Participation in the scheduling and content planning of your own area of responsibility.

Derive and define hardware design requirements

– Clarification with client/customer and relevant departments (interface requirements)

– Collection and documentation of the requirements with the tools specified by the company

Circuit design and creation of circuit diagrams

– New development or reuse of verified and tested circuit blocks

– Selection of components

– Component calculations to ensure functional and quality requirements

– Handover of the circuit diagram to the PCB design and participation in the EMCcompliant placement of the components

– Use of the tools provided by the company for the creation of the circuit diagrams and calculations

Technical coordination with component suppliers

Commissioning and verification of electronic units (prototypes)

– Commissioning a hardware electronic unit (no Software)

– Element Integration (electronic unit with software: joint activity with software colleague)

– Creation of test cases for electrical hardware detail verification

– Execution of electrical hardware detail verification (hardware integration)

Requirements:

• Higher technical school with technical specialization on electronics, mechatronics or similar or University of Applied Sciences or University with focus on electronics, mechatronics or similar

• Knowledge in electronic design and measuring technology
