As an Electronics Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the timely and high-quality execution of electronics-related project tasks. You will actively interface with internal teams, external partners, and customers, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment with project goals and development processes. Your role will involve technical responsibility from requirements engineering to product release, contributing to the development of LED-based lighting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and qualitative execution of project-specific electronics tasks
Actively interface and collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers
Analyze and process requirements and project objectives
Ensure adherence to the defined development processes and standards
Main Tasks:
Perform Requirements Engineering for electronic components and systems
Select and calculate LEDs based on technical and purchasing requirements
Define and verify PCBA concepts (with/without heatsink), including thermal considerations
Provide input data for system calibration (e.g., LED current, NTC, binning)
Create PCBA requirement specifications for internal development or external suppliers
External Electronics Development:
Coordinate PCBA sample builds up to supplier nomination
Manage technical coordination with Electronic Suppliers
Internal Electronics Development:
Coordinate activities of hardware and software engineers
Oversee technical coordination with EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) suppliers
Manage electronic work products and product releases using PLM tools
Coordinate customer communication for PCBA components and architecture
Support the “be Electrically Integrable” function for test cases and architecture definition
Contribute to DVP&R (Design Verification Plan and Report) development
Participate in Sub-System FMEAs for risk analysis and mitigation
Completed education from a Higher Technical School with specialization in electronics, mechatronics, or a similar field or Degree from a University of Applied Sciences or University with a focus on electronics or mechatronics
Knowledge in electronic design, including schematic and layout principles
Basic understanding of optical, thermal, and mechanical concepts
Strong organizational and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in a structured development environment
