Cloud Application Engineer (Python)

Join a small, cross-functional team delivering AI-powered solutions in the cloud. We need a Python developer with cloud deployment experience (GCP/Azure, Docker, IaC) who thrives in fast-moving, complex projects.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and deploy production-level cloud applications in GCP or Azure using Python (Flask, FastAPI), including new features.

• Write clean, maintainable code, perform code reviews, and implement automated testing.

• Develop and optimize application code and IaC for deployments.

• Containerize applications using Docker, including multi-stage builds.

• Work with SQL and noSQL databases to store and manage data.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into complex service stacks.

• Advocate for best practices in software development and cloud application design.

What you bring to the table:

• Solid knowledge in architecting and building scalable, high-performance cloud applications.

• Hands-on experience with cloud providers for hosting and management, and experience with cloud services and infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience with IaC for deployment (Terraform, Terragrunt)

• Understanding of Docker for multi-stage builds, and overall application deployment.

• Experience building REST APIs and microservices from scratch, following best architecture practices.

• Strong knowledge of Python and related frameworks like FastAPI, or Flask.

• Experience in managing and interacting with SQL and noSQL databases.

• Team player mindset and fluency in English.
