About the role

We’re launching a new project with a leading European enterprise and are looking for Junior Network Support Engineers to join a dedicated 24/7 team.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a single, high-profile client, supporting and maintaining their network infrastructure. You’ll be part of a newly formed sub-team focused on cutting-edge data center technologies, with the chance to make a real impact.

Daily challenges

• Maintaining and supporting variety of Network and Security equipment;
• Categorizing and prioritizing the Incident to work on it quickly and efficiently;
• Defining an action plan for diagnosis and troubleshoot Incidents with the aim to restore normal service;
• Efficiently using the technical scripts, diagnostic tools, and a known error database;
• Communicating with the customer on a professional level, cooperation with team members, other support teams and 3rd party providers;
• Work on shift in 24/7 coverage rotation.

eXperience and skills required

• High school diploma preferably in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering;
• Good understanding of network fundamentals – OSI model, TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, ARP, Port Security and NAT;
• Familiarity with routing and switching concepts (e.g., OSPF, BGP, Ethernet, VLANs);
• Awareness of firewall and network security technologies;
• Understanding and adherence to the ITIL framework (Change Management, etc.);
• Fluent verbal and written English.

What we will consider as an advantage:

• Experience with Firewall technology (Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet);
• Knowledge of standard VPN technologies;
• Cisco CCNA and/or other equivalent network certification;
• Experience in enterprise environments or large-scale network operations.
