    During the last months we put a lot of effort into advertising our work and approaching new clients, and as a result, we’re facing new and exciting business opportunities. This is a great chance to expand our team, and we’re currently looking for a Business Operations Analyst.

    What you’ll be doing:

    As a Business Ops Analyst you will play a key role in supporting the first class delivery of projects and programs for clients by ensuring consistent application of project governance, tools, reporting, and best practices. This role acts as a bridge between the delivery teams and senior stakeholders, ensuring that projects are aligned with strategic goals, tracked accurately, and delivered efficiently.

    This role is a junior to mid entry point and offers a strong foundation for a career in Digital Project Operations and Delivery. With experience the right candidate will have the opportunity to progress into more senior roles such as Operational Delivery Assurance and Project Management.

    Key Skills:

    • Some experience (ideally 2 years) of working in a project support role
    • Understanding of project management principles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or PMI frameworks)
    • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Power BI, Excel)
    • Solid grasp of project financials, resource planning, risk management methods and techniques to monitor project health
    • Analytical mindset with basic experience in reporting or data analysis (e.g., dashboards, pivot tables)
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
    • Comfortable working across multiple projects and prioritizing competing demands

    Project Financial Analysis:

    • Assist in the tracking and analysis of project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts
    • Support the preparation of regular internal reports for projects, highlighting key variances and trends for project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts
    • Analyse project financial data to identify potential issues, inefficiencies, and flag these, where relevant, to the appropriate team members
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial analysis activities
    • Support with reviewing contractor invoicing for projects
    • Support with reviewing team time and costs for project invoicing

    Risk Analysis and Support:

    • Create and maintain project risk registers with input from the wider project team
    • Support the identification and assessment of potential risks across project delivery streams
    • Assist in the development and tracking of risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies
    • Help maintain the risk register by providing data and updates on identified risks, flagging to the wider team where support may be needed for mitigations

    Reporting and Data Management:

    • Support the preparation of regular internal reports for leadership on project financial status and risks
    • Contribute to the maintenance of project KPIs and milestones frameworks
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting activities

    Process Support and Improvement:

    • Support in running project debriefs to provide insight into lessons for improvement and areas to review etc
    • Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with Project Teams to create and maintain a Stakeholder Map/RACI for projects
    • Reviewing project resource requirements, supporting the project teams to ensure onboarding team members are secured in time for their commencement dates
    • Create and maintain team holiday trackers for projects, circulating to the wider team where relevant to flag any time periods where role cover should be reviewed and potentially implemented
    • Identify gaps in processes or tooling and contribute to ongoing Operational process improvement initiatives
