    Tech Stack / Requirements

    We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) with strong accounting knowledge and proven experience in financial reporting systems. The ideal candidate will bring both functional expertise and hands-on experience in system implementations, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and manual testing. Prior experience in banking or a solid understanding of financial products is highly preferred.

    Description of the role

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
    • Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams.
    • Perform gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement.
    • Design, document, and maintain business processes, workflows, and models using tools such as BPMN.
    • Write and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for application development and implementation.
    • Provide end-to-end support throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Prepare high-quality presentations, process flows, and documentation using tools such as MS PowerPoint and Visio.
    • Analyze and evaluate current systems, identifying areas for upgrade or optimization.
    • Ensure alignment with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

    Needed qualifications

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Experience with banking or understanding of banking financial products is a strong advantage.
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
    • Stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Practical experience with requirement and test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
    • Solid understanding of SDLC and experience working within structured project environments.
    • Proven track record in implementing financial/accounting systems.
    • Experience in manual functional testing.
    • Upper-intermediate or higher level of English (written and spoken).
    • Experience with business process modeling (preferably using BPMN).
