Senior Automation QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Be hands-on in creating detailed, well-structured test plans and implementing automated distributed tests in Java
• Design, develop and maintain automation tests frameworks
• Work as part of a team in a dynamic and agile environment
• Automated and manual testing of developed applications (Web, API and SDK apps)
• Conduct root-cause analysis of identified defects, providing development teams with sufficient details to understand, replicate and resolve them
• Estimate and prioritise own testing tasks

About you:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in testing complex software systems
• Excellent understanding of SDLC
• Deep understanding in QA processes and methodologies, test plans, test case management, bug tracking systems, tools and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of at least one OOP language – Java, PHP and etc. (Java is an advantage)
• Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Advanced Web and API testing experience
• Experience in at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL/ Mongo and etc.)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong self-organizing skills and ownership of deliveries
• Team player with strong communication skills and eager to learn new things
• Plan, write and execute automated test cases

Nice to have:

• Experience with agile-based Software Development Processes.
• Experience using and maintaining CI/CD tools (Github actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience working on Linux distributions.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with database testing (preferably PostgreSQL, MySQL databases, Mongo).
