Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing on software product features, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Review and analyze requirements, providing feedback and raising relevant questions to clarify any ambiguities.
• Write comprehensive test cases to cover all aspects of the software, ensuring thorough testing of new and existing functionality.
• Identify, log, retest, and close issues, ensuring thorough documentation and tracking of defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with team members, including developers, business analysts, project managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
• Report testing progress, issues, and results to the corresponding team leaders, providing clear and concise updates.
• Participate actively in daily scrum meetings, contributing to discussions and planning sessions to align on priorities and progress.

Key requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a solid track record of identifying and resolving issues effectively.
• Proficiency in working with databases, including the ability to write and execute queries.
• Hands-on experience with API testing, including familiarity with tools and methodologies for testing APIs.
• Experience in testing web applications.
• Proficient in issue and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes, including best practices and methodologies.
• Exceptional logical and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proactive and self-sufficient, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration and reporting.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
