Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing on software product features, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
Review and analyze requirements, providing feedback and raising relevant questions to clarify any ambiguities.
Write comprehensive test cases to cover all aspects of the software, ensuring thorough testing of new and existing functionality.
Identify, log, retest, and close issues, ensuring thorough documentation and tracking of defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with team members, including developers, business analysts, project managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
Report testing progress, issues, and results to the corresponding team leaders, providing clear and concise updates.
Participate actively in daily scrum meetings, contributing to discussions and planning sessions to align on priorities and progress.
Key requirements:
2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a solid track record of identifying and resolving issues effectively.
Proficiency in working with databases, including the ability to write and execute queries.
Hands-on experience with API testing, including familiarity with tools and methodologies for testing APIs.
Experience in testing web applications.
Proficient in issue and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes, including best practices and methodologies.
Exceptional logical and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proactive and self-sufficient, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration and reporting.
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
