Senior Automation QA Engineer – Web & Mobile (Java)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation for both web and mobile applications, or a solid background in one with a willingness to grow in the other.

You’ll work with a modern tech stack including Java, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, and cloud-based tools like BrowserStack, to help build a unified, scalable automation framework that supports high-quality software delivery across platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and play a key role in shaping our QA strategy.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for both web and mobile platforms using Java, Selenium, and Appium.
• Create and maintain BDD-style test scripts using Cucumber for end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing.
• Implement and manage Page Object Model (POM) and other best practices to ensure reusable, maintainable test code.
• Perform API testing using tools like RestAssured or Postman.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Use cloud-based platforms like BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Conduct test result analysis, identify issues, and continuously improve test coverage and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure proper test environments and smooth release cycles.
• Stay up-to-date with testing trends, tools, and automation practices.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing with Java.
• Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium or a strong interest in mobile test automation (iOS and Android).
• Proficiency in BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and test management using TestNG.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and tools like Jenkins, Git.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and experience testing them.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams and participating in ceremonies.

Nice to Have

• Experience setting up or using Selenium Grid for parallel or distributed testing.
• Familiarity with mobile testing challenges such as gestures, device fragmentation, and platform-specific issues.
• Exposure to performance testing or Dockerized environments.
• QA certification (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
