Senior React Native Developer

*This position is fully remote only for employment in Bulgaria. However, people can also work in one of our offices in Sofia or Varna if they prefer to.

Position Overview

Our client is a leading company with over €190 million in revenue, launching a complex, regulation-compliant international ticket sales platform with multiple customer channels and APIs for B2B, global distributors, and major UK and European train operators.

We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, consumer-facing mobile applications. This role involves the full software development lifecycle, including building new features, performing maintenance, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React Native, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions, and apply best practices such as unit testing, continuous integration, and code reviews within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software that provides critical functionality for the client
• Design, develop, and implement front-end software functionality
• Full cycle of live system development – new features, maintenance and improvements, support,t and bug fixes
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• Collaborate with the team to deliver customer-facing product functionality

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• In-depth knowledge of React Native
• Knowledge of collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Experience developing consumer-facing high-performance mobile applications
• Good knowledge of design patterns, SOLID, & Clean Code Principles
• Basic understanding of and experience in using unit testing
• Well-versed with Agile development using practices like pair programming, continuous integration, test-driven development, code reviews, and automation testing
• Experience working on mobile application performance analysis and tuning experience
• Good communication skills, including spoken and written English.
