Position Overview
Our client is a UK-based company specializing in personalized greeting cards, flowers, and gifts. Positioned as a tech-forward leader in their domain, they actively invest in innovative solutions and diverse technologies to deliver exceptional digital experiences to their customers.
With growing demand for virtual celebrations and remote interactions, the project focuses on scaling and enhancing the platform’s capabilities. Teams are being built in two models: augmentation of existing teams and creation of dedicated new ones. We are currently hiring for several .NET stack positions across multiple product teams.
You will be part of a delivery-oriented team working on high-volume transactional systems with strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and cloud-based architecture. Candidates will join teams responsible for Stripe integrations, serverless APIs, and platform optimizations.
We’re looking for engineers who are comfortable with backend development, open to frontend/tooling tasks, and can collaborate in an agile and feedback-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain .NET Core backend and RESTful APIs
Integrate Stripe payments and manage AWS serverless services
Implement infrastructure-as-code and work with SQL/NoSQL databases
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply TDD practices
Collaborate in agile teams and translate business needs into scalable solutions
Requirements
Strong experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API
Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and RESTful API development
Experience with Stripe integrations, including subscriptions and billing
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS) and serverless architecture
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
Experience with MS SQL Server and/or NoSQL (DynamoDB preferred)
Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
