    Position Overview

Our client is a UK-based company specializing in personalized greeting cards, flowers, and gifts. Positioned as a tech-forward leader in their domain, they actively invest in innovative solutions and diverse technologies to deliver exceptional digital experiences to their customers.

With growing demand for virtual celebrations and remote interactions, the project focuses on scaling and enhancing the platform’s capabilities. Teams are being built in two models: augmentation of existing teams and creation of dedicated new ones. We are currently hiring for several .NET stack positions across multiple product teams.

You will be part of a delivery-oriented team working on high-volume transactional systems with strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and cloud-based architecture. Candidates will join teams responsible for Stripe integrations, serverless APIs, and platform optimizations.

We’re looking for engineers who are comfortable with backend development, open to frontend/tooling tasks, and can collaborate in an agile and feedback-driven environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain .NET Core backend and RESTful APIs
    • Integrate Stripe payments and manage AWS serverless services
    • Implement infrastructure-as-code and work with SQL/NoSQL databases
    • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply TDD practices
    • Collaborate in agile teams and translate business needs into scalable solutions

    Requirements

    • Strong experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API
    • Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and RESTful API development
    • Experience with Stripe integrations, including subscriptions and billing
    • Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS) and serverless architecture
    • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
    • Experience with MS SQL Server and/or NoSQL (DynamoDB preferred)
    • Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
    • TDD and unit testing mindset
    • English: Upper-Intermediate or higher

    Nice To Have

    • Experience with microservices architecture
    • Frontend familiarity (React, TypeScript, HTML/JavaScript)
    • Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or high-load systems
    • Understanding of system design, performance, and resilience
    • Strong collaboration skills: pair programming, agile mindset
    • Operational thinking: ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

    What We Offer

    • Unique corporate culture – no micromanagement, friendly atmosphere, freedom, and mutual respect
    • Flexible schedule – ability to change projects, to work from home, and to try yourself in different roles
    • Professional Development Map – a comprehensive map of your professional development within DataArt
    • We hire people not for a project, but for the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.
    • Social benefits – additional health insurance, life insurance, sports card, etc.
    • Opportunity to work from another DataArt office in a different city or country (temporarily or permanently)
    • Free English courses
    • Cozy office with a great atmosphere
    • Snacks, drinks, and fruits are always available
