    Position Overview

    We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst / MDM Lead to drive Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives within our data ecosystem. This role will focus on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance across various business systems, supporting data integration, harmonization, and optimization efforts.

    The ideal candidate will play a critical role in data standardization, transformation, and synchronization between ERP, CRM, PIM, and other enterprise platforms.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Define and implement MDM best practices, data models, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality master data across the organization
    • Establish data validation rules, business processes, and ownership guidelines for master data domains
    • Develop policies to streamline data flows and ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation
    • Lead data cleansing, deduplication, and standardization efforts to ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems
    • Conduct gap analysis and root cause investigations for data discrepancies, ensuring accurate reporting and analytics
    • Establish and enforce data validation mechanisms to prevent incorrect data entry and improve automation
    • Oversee the integration of master data across ERP, CRM, PIM, and eComm systems
    • Collaborate with IT teams to design ETL workflows, API-based data synchronization, and data pipelines between enterprise systems
    • Support M&A-related data migration projects, ensuring smooth consolidation of acquired data assets
    • Provide data-driven insights to business teams through data modeling, visualization, and reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
    • Support cross-functional decision-making by delivering actionable data insights and analytics
    • Work closely with IT, Finance, Operations, and Business stakeholders to align MDM initiatives with strategic goals
    • Act as a key liaison between business teams and technical teams, ensuring requirements are well-documented and executed
    • Lead workshops, training sessions, and documentation efforts to promote MDM awareness across the organization

     

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in a data-driven discipline such as Finance, IT, Business Analytics, or a related field
    • Explicit experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, or Data Quality Management
    • Strong background in ERP data structures, data migration, and system integrations
    • Experience working on large-scale MDM implementations, data migration projects, or enterprise IT system conversions
    • Advanced SQL proficiency for querying, data validation, and analysis
    • Familiarity with MDM tools and platforms
    • Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
    • Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and master data structures
    • Ability to automate data workflows and create repeatable data validation processes
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies
    • Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate across different teams, functions, and geographic regions
    • Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
