Position Overview
Our client is one of the world’s largest investment funds that manages hundreds of billions of dollars. The company’s business is focused on several areas: private equity, venture capital, real assets, investment solutions, and global market strategies.
DataArt specialists work on the project in several areas related to the core business of the client. We are helping to develop a decision support system for investment analysts. The project includes development, optimization, and speeding up applications and databases.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support ongoing enhancements to our data and analytics platforms, including Snowflake, Streamlit, and Power BI. The BA will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and document requirements, manage Jira backlogs, and support agile delivery processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements for ongoing application enhancements
Create clear, structured requirements documentation and user stories
Work with product and engineering teams to review upcoming and backlog Jira tickets
Create and manage Jira tickets for new tasks and enhancements
Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities
Ensure alignment across business and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
Experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data warehouse projects (Snowflake, Power BI, or similar tools)
Working knowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Background or domain knowledge in Alternative Asset Management, Private Equity, or Investment Banking
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively across time zones
Experience with Streamlit or lightweight Python data applications is a plus
