Position Overview
Our client is a leading provider of life sciences solutions worldwide, enabling impactful breakthroughs and therapies to market faster. The client provides a full suite of reliable cold-chain sample management solutions and genomic services across areas such as drug development, clinical research, and advanced cell therapies for the industry’s top pharmaceutical, biotech, academic and healthcare institutions globally.
A laboratory information management system is an informatic partner for a lab. This is a tool as it is a centralized system where your client manages samples and associated information and data, automates workflows, and integrates instruments.
Our client offers a scalable, powerful, and flexible virtual sample management solution that enables labs to integrate sample data across all sites, linking clinical, consent, and other data to maximize the value of your samples. This includes control workflows, including common biobanking workflows with the option to include laboratory processing workflows.
We are looking for a Middle+ Ruby on Rails Developer who is interested in joining this initiative. You will be part of a team comprised of different skill levels, who will also help you with the tasks, and capability development, and a PM, who will cover all organizational matters.
Requirements
3+ years of Ruby development experience
Experience working with Rails, RSpec
Experience deploying Rails applications
Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Git
Good spoken English
Nice to Have
Skills working with AWS
Experience working with JavaScript frameworks: ExtJS
Experience working with the Limfinity framework
Experience designing and using REST and SOAP APIs
