    Position Overview

Our client is a wealth management firm specializing in personalized financial advisory services for high-net-worth individuals and families.

Our client is transitioning from an old-school SQL Server ecosystem (stored procedures, SSRS, low-code frontend) to a modern Python full stack environment with Snowflake. They’re seeking engineers to support this migration and develop new applications.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and experience working with modern UI frameworks, backend frameworks, and workflow tools. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications with a focus on high performance and usability.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services
    • Develop and integrate user interfaces using React or Angular to create functional and responsive frontends
    • Build robust and scalable backend services using Flask
    • Manage and optimize workflows and scheduling using Apache Airflow
    • Work within Linux-based environments for deployment and development
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
    • Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior developers
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

    Requirements

    • Strong proficiency in Python development with several years of production experience
    • Hands-on experience with UI functional frameworks: React or Angular
    • Expertise in Flask for building backend APIs and services
    • Experience working in Linux environments, including shell scripting and system tools
    • Practical experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
    • Understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
    • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git)
    • Ability to write clear technical documentation
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    Nice To Have

    • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
    • Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

    What We Offer

    • Unique corporate culture – no micromanagement, friendly atmosphere, freedom, and mutual respect
    • Flexible schedule – ability to change projects, to work from home, and to try yourself in different roles
    • Professional Development Map – a comprehensive map of your professional development within DataArt
    • We hire people not for a project, but for the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.
    • Social benefits – additional health insurance, life insurance, sports card, etc.
    • Opportunity to work from another DataArt office in a different city or country (temporarily or permanently)
    • Free English courses
    • Cozy office with a great atmosphere
    • Snacks, drinks, and fruits are always available
