As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Senior/Regular Business Expert in our SDTP team.

The SDTP (Securities & Derivatives Trading Platforms) Cluster within Commerzbank’s IT Delivery Organization (DO) is responsible for designing, delivering, and operating the bank’s primary and secondary trading businesses for rates, credit, and equity products. With a team of over 120 professionals across four locations in the UK and Europe, the cluster manages an application landscape of approximately 70 IT systems. SDTP bridges Business and IT, enabling the bank to enhance its software delivery capabilities.

The focus is placed on adopting cutting-edge technologies and aligning closely with business needs to achieve the company’s strategic objectives. In this agile cluster organization, business experts, engineers, and product owners collaborate as integrated teams. Agile methodologies empower team members to adapt quickly to changing conditions and evolving customer needs through an iterative approach. This fosters the continuous development of innovative solutions, driving better products, higher quality, and more efficient processes. The teams collectively ensure the delivery of valuable functionalities for customers while iteratively enhancing existing products, processes, and services to align with customer expectations.

Your tasks:

• Maintaining in a prudent manner all products in good administrative conditions.
• Understanding the business content, thus building the communication bridge between the business (Front Office: Traders & Sales) and the IT (developers, testers, operations).
• Identifying and continuously optimizing business processes in IT-products, including, Analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation of solutions.
• Driving simplification and streamlining of processes as part of decommissioning initiatives in alignment with our Momentum Strategy,
  Collaborating closely with architecture and business teams to define and implement new target operating models.
• Analyzing and understanding of overall Cluster architecture and applications in order to identify opportunities to enhance not only the systems within Regulatory Sales Tools but also the overall user experience – thereby, ensuring that internal and external standards are met.
• Acquiring deep technical knowledge of the applications and performing various configuration activities to support the business needs
  Implementing and supporting new functions, modules and/or interfaces of the applications.
• Analyzing and consulting product owner with regard to short-/ mid-/ long-term strategy of the cell by ensuring the identification of necessary and value-adding epics.
• Committing to being not only a strong service provider but also a consultant to the business, including understanding of business needs, challenging and development of initial ideas, offering and discussing several solutions with focus on business value / regulatory requirements / effort.
• Analyzing and understanding of technical process and interfaces to other systems of all business process of the cell.
• Participating in the agile methodologies and the improvement of the level of agility.
• Committing to collaborative problem solving, professional communication, and delivering a quality product.
• Mentoring young talents, supporting and guiding them in the project and their skill development.

Your profile:

• Strong ability to enable cell to analyze and implement value adding and effective epics.
• Expertise in enabling consultation of business from an efficient technical/ architectural perspective.
• Strong ability to work within overall agile strategy of Commerzbank / educate younger talents.
• Good knowledge of testing implemented business requirements (configuration and Software).
• Excellent communication skills, confident / ability to present to different stakeholders.
