Security Operations Engineer with Seeker (m/f/diverse)

As part of this strategy, Commerzbank is expanding its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. The teams here are focused on development, improvement and support of software solutions which digitalize the business of the bank. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Security Operations Engineer with Seeker in our CI/CD CHAMP team.

You will contribute to the operational maintenance of Code Quality for CHAMP, Commerzbank’s Hyper-Accelerated Master Pipeline (CI/CD pipeline) and will bring the knowledge of operational practices in an agile environment while being aware of compliance rules that must be fulfilled before deploying any new application into production.

Your tasks

• Ensuring platform stability and availability including solving Incident, problem, creating change and ensuring release management;
• Ensuring compliance of the production environment with the rules and regulations of the bank;
• Monitoring of the infrastructure and the applications and analyzing problems basing on product logs;
• Communicating with users of the platform in case of operational support ticket or in case of scheduling mandatory downtime;
• Ensuring that the application documentation is complete and up to date;
• Ensure the future enhancement of the functionalities provided, by the Code Quality products and participate to the definition of roadmap of evolution;
• Working in an Agile team setup and participating in Scrum/Kanban meetings.

Your profile

• Strong expertise in CI/CD, with demonstrated successful experience with OpenShift (on AZURE or GOOGLE Cloud) customizing a vendor image, adding all components needed and create a new OpenShift image that can be deployed within a CICD Pipeline;
• Strong maintenance experiences for Code quality tools e.g. Seeker, SonarQube, OpenText (Fortify), SonaType, NexusIQ, Contrast;
• In-depth knowledge in scripting (Bash, Python, Perl);
• Professional experience with software application support (focus on Java-based applications), preferably in the banking environment;
• Experience with Linux / Unix operating systems;
• Able to drive tasks and deliver results independently;
• Good team player with high ability to work in cross-locational and international teams;
• Fluent English – both written and spoken.
