    As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a SAP ABAP Developer in our Commerz Real team.

    In Commerz Real we design and are responsible for a modern, highly scalable and sustainable IT landscape. Jointly with the business departments, we develop innovative and secure digital solutions for our operating model and for our customers. We strive for strategic partnerships with service providers and prop techs that we connect to our IT landscape.

    Your tasks:

    • Designing and implementing SAP-based software solutions to meet specific business requirements within the SAP ecosystem of Commerz Real;
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including other developers, QA engineers and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of development-projects;
    • Troubleshooting and debugging SAP-code, identifying root causes of issues and implementing effective solutions;
    • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as development specifications, code comments, and user guides;
    • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices;
    • Learning and integrating new SAP technologies and frameworks, such as CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, or Fiori Elements into existing and future developments;
    • Ensuring that SAP developments are scalable, maintainable and compliant with performance and security standards;
    • Executing unit tests and supporting quality assurance processes to ensure that developments meet defined requirements and SAP standards.

    Your profile:

    • Previous experience in ABAP development;
    • Proficiency in error analysis and optimization, confident use of the debugger, basic performance analysis skills;
    • Experience in participation in reviews, giving and receiving feedback, quality assurance in development;
    • Experience in ITSM processes (e.g. ITIL) like incident management, request fulfillment, change-&release management;
    • Good skills in ensuring quality in SAP development and independently initiating corrective measures for improvements;
    • Experience in creating clear and structured technical documentation;
    • Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
    • University degree in IT or relevant.
