Product Owner (m/f/diverse)

As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Product Owner in our CI/CD CHAMP team.

The CI/CD CHAMP cluster is responsible for the development and provision of services in the area of Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Integration. We provide automated deployment environments, customized delivery pipelines, test automation tools and expertise, as well as onboarding services. Our customers and partners are other software development teams within Commerzbank.

Your tasks:

• Developing and communicating the product vision and strategy aligned with the company’s goals and customer needs;
• Being responsible for assembling the team based on required skills/expertise, together and in close coordination with the Team Managers;
• Being responsible for customer and stakeholder management; engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable tasks for the development team;
• Prioritizing and managing the product backlog, ensuring that features, enhancements, and bug fixes are well-documented and prioritized based on business value;
• Monitoring and analyzing product performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to drive improvements and achieve KPIs;
• Defining acceptance criteria for user stories prior to sprint planning and obtaining commitment of the team for the sprint backlog;
• Conducting acceptance of the sprint result prior to presentation in the review meeting;
• Ensuring stable operations as per the service level agreements, IT security guidelines, user privilege management policy and the regulatory requirements, e.g. in connection with the backlog;
• Preparing and participating in PI Planning.

Your profile:

• Previous experience as the Product Owner of a software product;
• Experience in prioritization of user stories or managing customers, releases or team members;
• Previous experience in cross-team collaboration, handling dependencies;
• Leadership skills in team environments;
• Excellent customer focused communication skills, both written and oral;
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices and SAFe framework;
• Understanding of software development process would be a great help in supporting and accompanying the development team;
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
• University degree in IT or relevant.
