As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a IT Security Engineer in our FlexHub team.

The Cluster FlexHub supports all clusters within Delivery Organization of Commerzbank with skilled personel, teams and IT services for strategic initiatives bringing innovation to products. We work in the Cluster in an agile structure, in which the teams work independently and flexibly on their tasks. Each team assumes responsibility for the product in the application and context environment from start to finish, from business analysis to software development to operation. The teams use agile working methods for their organization to deliver products to customers faster and more efficiently.

Your tasks:

• Safeguarding the organization’s digital assets by proactively managing security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Configurating, optimizing, and managing of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
• Participating in regular vulnerability and exposure assessments, collaborating with teams to remediate identified issues effectively and in a timely manner.
• Working on creation of Scenarios (Use Cases) and consulting our clients about their systems and possible breaches in their environment.

Your profile:

• Solid expertise in IT infrastructure and IT security as well as in the analysis of log data (Unix Linux derivatives, Windows operating systems, databases).
• Practical experience with vulnerability or exposure management platforms.
• Knowledge/ Experience with data collecting Incident management tools and reporting.
• Deep understanding in the analysis, creation and review of SIEM use cases including source connection and creation of custom connectors and different reporting tools.
• Experience with threat hunting activities. Deep understanding of attacker behaviors, malware analysis, and lateral movement techniques.
• CompTIA Security+ / CEH (optional but beneficial).
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (Azure, GCP).
