As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect in our FlexHub team.

Your tasks:

• Leading the design, build and operational aspects of cloud applications, DevSecOps and working on implementing cloud native solutions.
• Developing cloud adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Designing scalable and secure cloud architecture.
• Managing cloud migrations with minimal disruption to operations.
• Creating and enhancing the architectural concepts of new reusable services based on complex business requirements.
• Designing suitable solutions for integration of backend systems into the Commerzbank IT landscape to realize the functionality of your team’s applications with performance, scalability, fault tolerance and maintainability in mind.
• Working in close collaboration with architects on various organizational levels to ensure the common architectural approach within the organization.
• Ensuring that architectural solutions comply with internal regulatory requirements and governance policies.
• Ensuring that architectural solutions implement security best practices and Zero Trust principles.
• Supporting your team with technology selection, roadmap preparation and releasing planning.
• Supporting development team(s) with technical guidance.
• Supporting business teams with analysis of complex requirements and advising on functionality scope.
• Supporting incident resolution and bug fixing.
• Working in an agile team setup and participating in scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro).

Your profile:

• Design solutions using the appropriate concepts and software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, layered, etc).
• In-depth understanding of relevant technologies and best-practice solution patterns (Azure, GCP, OpenShift) and CI/CD.
• Develop and help maintain new Java modules – Java, Java Frameworks, Spring.
• Object-oriented and domain-driven design/architecture. Understand the key concepts and apply them in daily work.
• Develop REST APIs based on the internal coding standards and guidelines.
• Understanding of security concepts with focus on Web, APIs and Mobile Technologies and ability to apply them in daily tasks.
• Use of Relational and NoSQL databases for the development of solutions for different Use Cases.
• Messaging services (Kafka, Google Pub/Sub) – design solutions using key concepts and best practices.
